Revolutionizing Digital Dentistry: Artificial Intelligence in Periodontology and Oral Implantology.

The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping various industries, including dentistry. This keynote presentation will focus on the transformative impact of AI specifically in periodontology and oral implantology. Starting with an overview of AI as an abstract concept, we will trace its development through groundbreaking research and its integration into clinical settings within these dental specialties.

We will explore the foundational theories and technological advancements that have propelled AI from theoretical constructs to practical tools. Key research milestones will be highlighted, demonstrating how machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and data analytics have revolutionized diagnostic accuracy, treatment planning, and patient management in periodontology and oral implantology.

In clinical practice, AI's applications are vast and varied. We will gain insights into how AI enhances diagnostic imaging, personalizes treatment plans, and streamlines administrative workflows specific to periodontal care and implantology. Real-world case studies will showcase the successful implementation of AI-driven solutions in clinical practice, emphasizing improved patient care, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in these fields.

This presentation will also address the challenges and ethical considerations associated with AI in periodontology and oral implantology, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the need for continuous professional development. By the end of this keynote, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of AI's journey from abstract concepts to tangible benefits in clinical practice, and the future directions of AI in revolutionizing these specialized areas of digital dentistry.
