Optimizing Data Management: A Cornerstone for AI Success
Artificial intelligence (AI), this rapidly evolving technology is marking a transformative era in dental diagnostics and patient care. The advent of this technology necessitates robust and comprehensive patient databases to train and validate AI models. This presentation introduces a groundbreaking software application designed by Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology department, Ain Shams University to revolutionize patient data collection.
The software streamlines the process of gathering essential personal data, medical history, and radiological findings from periapical, panoramic and CBCT images. A key strength of this program is the ability to search for specific radiological findings. This feature makes it a valuable tool for researchers, particularly those working in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in the part of machine learning. By facilitating the effortless collection and search of vast datasets, this software empowers researchers to unlock the true potential of patient data, ultimately accelerating advancements in healthcare.
Finally, the presentation will address the challenges faced during the development and implementation phases, including data standardization, interoperability with existing systems, and ensuring user-friendly interfaces for clinical staff. By overcoming these challenges, our software represents a significant advancement in the integration of AI into oral radiology practices.
